Privacy Policy

Scarabhold is a small, independent Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG price tracker. This page explains what data gets collected when you visit, in plain terms — there's not much of it.

What we don't do

There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, no newsletters, no comments, and no forms anywhere on this site. We don't collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information directly, because there's nowhere on the site that asks you for it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand traffic in aggregate — which pages get visited, roughly where from, and on what kind of device. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your IP address (which Google may store in truncated or otherwise identifiable form depending on your region), browser type, and pages viewed. We don't combine this with anything else, because we don't have anything else to combine it with.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's browser add-on, or by using a browser/extension that blocks analytics scripts. Blocking it doesn't break anything on the site — Scarabhold works exactly the same either way.

Buy links

Buy links on card pages go to TCGplayer (via Impact), eBay (via eBay Partner Network), and a small "keep it safe" accessory pick to Amazon (via Amazon Associates) — if you make a purchase after clicking through, Scarabhold may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Once you leave Scarabhold for one of those sites, their own privacy policy applies, not this one. We don't see or receive any information about what you do on those sites beyond aggregate, anonymized conversion data from the affiliate programs themselves.

Server logs

Like essentially every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp, user agent) for security and troubleshooting purposes. These aren't used for tracking or analytics beyond that, and are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.

Children's privacy

Scarabhold isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age — there's simply no mechanism on the site to submit personal information in the first place.

Changes to this policy

If what the site collects ever changes, this page will be updated to reflect that before the change goes live.
