About Scarabhold

Scarabhold tracks market prices for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game — every card, every set, updated every night. We built it because we wanted a fast, ad-light way to check what a card is actually worth, and to see at a glance whether it's forbidden, limited, or safe to play in Advanced format.

Where the data comes from

Card details, banlist status, and pricing across TCGplayer, Cardmarket, eBay, Amazon, and CoolStuffInc are sourced from the YGOPRODeck API. Prices are snapshotted once nightly, so figures here may lag live marketplace activity — always check the listing price before completing a purchase.

Banlist tracking

YGOPRODeck publishes the current Forbidden/Limited/Semi-Limited list, not a history of changes. Scarabhold builds that history itself by comparing each night's banlist against the previous one, so every change logged from when we started tracking a card onward is a real, dated event — the very first entry for an already-restricted card is a baseline snapshot, not its true original ban date.
